Over the past thirty years, Villa di Montruglio has hosted various cultural events, from ancient music concerts (Chorus of the Libera Cantoria Pisani), to classical music (Orchestra of the Slovenian Radio Television), to pop music (Patrizia Laquidara) and rock (Alma Megretta).
Here, moreover, two editions (2007 and 2009) of the Marvelous Sound Project, Festival di Suono e Pace, were conceived, produced and realized. The events were a great success with the public.
Negli ultimi trent’anni Villa di Montruglio ha ospitato vari eventi culturali, dai concerti di musica antica (Coro della Libera Cantoria Pisani), di musica classica (Orchestra della Radio Televisione Slovena), di musica pop (Patrizia Laquidara) e rock (Alma Megretta).
Ha inoltre ideato, prodotto e realizzato due edizioni (2007 e 2009) di Marvellous Sound Project, Festival di Suono e Pace, che ha riscosso un notevole successo di pubblico.
The attention that Villa di Montruglio reserves to art in all its forms can also be found in the park where – in addition to eighteenth-century statues probably coming from the Marinali workshop – the works of two important Italian sculptors meet: Maurizio D’Agostini (“Educazione dell’Anima”, 1997) and Paolo Gallerani in collaboration with Aldo Peotta (“La Grande Ruota”, 1989).
L’attenzione che Villa di Montruglio riserva all’Arte in ogni sua forma si riscontra anche nel parco dove – oltre a statue settecentesche probabilmente provenienti dalla bottega dei Marinali – s’incontrano le opere di due importanti scultori italiani: Maurizio D’Agostini (“Educazione dell’Anima”, 1997) e Paolo Gallerani (“La Grande Ruota”, 1989).
On Sunday 8 May 2022, on a sun-kissed afternoon, the vernissage of the contemporary art exhibition curated by Arte Laguna Prize took place at Villa di Montruglio. Enriched by the intervention of the artist Elisa Baldissera and the concert by Maestro Ermanno Bertelli, the inauguration recorded a notable public attendance.
In addition to the personal exhibition of the Turin artist, the exhibition hosts a work by Nacho Unrrein, located in the park behind the Villa.
