The Villa di Montruglio Tai Rosso presents a light ruby red colour. As far as the aroma is concerned, this wine presents predominant primary, varietal fragrances reminiscent of fresh fruit and flowers.
VINIFICATION PROCESS
On account of the typical colour of the grape variety Tai Rosso is subject to considerable variation due to climatic conditions. Maceration in contact with the skins may thus vary from 20-30 hrs to 100-120 hrs, depending on the year, and occurs always at a controlled temperature of 20-22°C.
GUSTATORY EVALUATION
It is advisable to taste the wine while it is still quite young, at a slightly cool temperature (13-14°C), and combining it with a refined, light foods. An excellent choice with delicate roast dishes and fine cured meats.
